Payments & Billing:

We do not bill for on-site work and phone support. All Invoices are due and payable upon receipt and at the end of the appointment.

 

For Paid phone Support a credit card # will be Authorized for payment prior to the call and will only be charged once the call has been completed. Please note that all Computer and support related issues are resolvable by phone. There is a minimum $15.00 phone charge for all attempts to resolve issues by phone. Otherwise, HSPC reserves the right to determine whether or not an on-site visit is required.

 

There is a minimum one-hour charge for services. Time is counted from the moment we walk in the front door. The first hour is automatic regardless of how long the technician is on-site. (1min through 1 hour). Then, past one hour the time is as follows. 16min + is considered ½ hour, 46min + is considered one full hour.

 

All credit cards except American express, accepted along with business and personal checks. Customers will be held responsible for paying all bank fees associated with return checks along with a $25.00 fee. All checks must be made out to HomeSmart PC, Inc, HomeSmart PC, or HomeSmart and not to the personal name of HSPC representative.

 

We Will Purchase Hardware and software for our clients, however, we will require a pre payment, in full, for any and all hardware or software exceeding $250.00.  Two-day pre pay for checks, 4 day pr pay for credit cards.

Scheduling & Cancellations :

All appointments must be scheduled through main office. Please do not make new appointments with representatives. Weekend service calls and appointments are reserved for Customers With annual Tech – Support Contracts only. Unless otherwise agreed to for special projects. There will be a 20% increase in hourly rates for weekend appointments, for customers without a TSC.

 

Appointments must be cancelled by phone within 12 hours of appointment time or incur a one hour charge. In the event of an emergency, HomeSmart PC, Inc will consider the customers circumstances.

Merchandise Returns:

New merchandise may be exchanged or returned for refund with your original sales receipt subject to the following conditions. HomeSmart PC, Inc reserves the right to decline any return or exchange where the product is not in “ Like new” condition. “Like new means the complete product in the original carton with all equipment, packaging, warranties, manuals and accessories.

 

Limited 1-year return for replacement, repair, or exchange policy on defected custom built HSPC systems, parts and components. A 15% open box fee will be charged on all systems returned unless the system is defective at which point it will be exchanged for an Identical system.

 

Return of retail CPUs, monitors (except AOC), external devices, scanners, software, speakers, power protection devices, controllers, network cards, hubs and switches, printers, media, and special ordered products will be based on the respective policies of their manufactures and in many cases are final and non-returnable.  In the event of damage or failure refer to your Limited Warranty for coverage.  In most cases it is advantageous for you to deal directly with the manufacturer for warranty. Software Must be returned within 30 days of purchase. Please note that operating systems may not be returned after being opened.

 

Items returned as defective found to be damaged will be returned to you. If that product was advanced replaced to you according to the limitations of its warranty, the product will be returned to you and the invoice for that product or the advanced replacement product will become due.

 

HomeSmart PC, Inc Is not Responsible For expenses fees or other costs Incurred by our Customers as a result of defective or incompatible products.
